I haven't bothered to save up for it. My gimpy ebon gryphon is enough for now, and I've been blowing all my gold on high-end enchants and loads and loads of consumables. I just finished the quest (in two heroic dungeons) to summon Nightbane, and I hear that fight needs consumables out the ass. What is this "real life" that everyone keeps talking about?

So it's interesting that hdm is being made into films now. The other day I was spazzing about the golden compass movie and R said, "that movie looks really good. It makes me want to live there and leave this world behind." Yes, and my daemon (well, as of 3 years ago) would be a brightly-colored bird that gets easily distracted by shiny objects.

Have you guys read the books? They're good. You'll hear that they're "controversial" and "anti-religion," but they are not -- they are strongly anti-corruption-of-power-in-governing-bodies, anti-totalitarian-rule-by-fear, anti-...suppression of accumulating experience (ok... I should just never write again). It's just that these ideas will be so easily misinterpreted. They are children's books with very adult themes.

Also I really want to see Nicole Kidman make out with Daniel Craig.

What word(s) do you always make a typo in?

Mulder instead of murder, Scull instead of skull (in fact, I just did it now). That tells you a lot about what I was like in the years bookending 2000.
